I have the wonderful privilege of being an aunt to two beautiful kids, Luke and Lizzy. My sister and her husband know how to pass on good genes! Back in the fall, Luke and Lizzy accompanied me to C.G. Hill Park in Pfafftown, NC, for fall portraits. I love working with kids, but it's important to remember that they are kids, and they need a break every now and then. I will usually try to get a few of the more "posed" images (if you prefer) but then I like to let them do their own thing, so they're more relaxed and comfortable.
Again, kids have their moments... sometimes it's a good idea to just back away and let them attack a pumpkin!
