Leon is an exotic pet... a rat... which most people don't seem to warm up to easily. However, he is the sweetest little guy! If I didn't have dogs that like to chase chipmunks and other tiny critters through the yard, I'd get a pet rat in a heartbeat. I grew up with pet rats and when I found out our neighbor had one, I asked right away about doing portraits of him. I know they seem like a really strange pet, but they are so much fun!
